What's Cook'in?
Great
Cooks may not need recipes, still many people enjoy sharing recipes.
New ideas, new flavors, new combinations. Good nutrition may require
a little something from all the basic food groups. Great sex requires
a lot of everything from different sense groups.
I find
it fascinating how good food and great sex seem to compliment one
another.
Speaking
of food, sometimes you just want to grab a quick bite, or warmed
up leftovers are fine. Sometimes you want to prepare a big holiday
feast with all the trimmings. Speaking of sex, quickies can be great
sometimes and getting into a habit with sex is a comfortable mainstay
for many. Planning a sexual feast can be quite an undertaking. It's
especially hard because there are few models and recipes available.
I vote for creating reason for sexual celebration and recipes for
cultivating great sex.
Let's
share recipes. I'll start with a few of my favorites and please
e-mail your favorite recipes. It's fun to share.
Ambiance
Fresh Ideas: Fresh flowers, clean room, music, soft light - candles,
clean bodies, out of doors, fresh straw in barn loft, sweet meadow
grass, near flowing water.
Oily
hands
Start with cloth protection for bed, couch or rug as this could
get messy. Warm oil if possible. Use organic oil when available,
add essential oils for fragrance if you like. Apply oil using your
hands to each part of the body. Take time to rub in the oil and
notice how your own body feels and how your partners body seems
to be responding.
Variations:
Leave the oil on as long as you like. Playing around with both bodies
amply oiled is lots of fun.
It
is also pleasurable to simply apply oil, then rub it off, gently,
like softly buffing wood after it is oiled. Use a soft cloth, like
flannel.
For
a special effect, try blowing on an area of skin.
Occasionally,
you might want to shake a little salt or sugar onto a well oiled
area. Then rub it in, careful not to rub too hard. This adds a little
abrasion and is healthy for the skin.
Also
consider using some actual spice, literally. Not every time, or
on all the body, but here and there for that little something extra.
I like turmeric for an earthy, raw smell and its healthful properties.
Ground cinnamon or cloves are good choices because they smell wonderful.
Keep in mind these spices are used mostly to smell interesting.
It's easy to overdose on fragrance especially if you are already
using scented oil, go easy on the spice. Do not apply spices directly
to the genital area.
Foods
to please
It's nice to have a little snack, especially when you are planning
to spend more than a short time. Pausing for a snack can be very
pleasurable. Best to have foods that can sit out easily without
needing refrigeration. Here are some of my favorites.
Sweet
rice is sticky and sensual. It seems to have just the right balance
of sweet and solid. As an added bonus it contains no sugar. Really
any kind of rice or whole grain is good.
Avoid
meat, nuts, cookies or crackers. I find these foods distracting
from the flow of sexual energy. Anything crunchy like potato chips
kind of distracts from the mood. Of course, every now and then it's
fun to try something different. Breads and rolls in general tend
to be too heavy. Stick to whole grains or noodles.
Fruit
is always good, banana, grapes, a ripe pear, and oranges are obvious
good candidates. Try some exotic fruits like mango, papaya or kiwi
for a special treat.
It's
handy to have food nearby when you want to playfully use it to place,
pour or rub onto the body. Be creative.
Always
have water handy and fruit juice if you like. Contrary to popular
belief, avoid alcohol for really Great Sex. Alcohol does not mix
with Great Sex. Alcohol seems beneficial when we are afraid of sex.
It inhibits our fear. It dulls everything, including our ability
to perform and respond. Want to be present and feel something GREAT?
Don't drink alcohol.
